Rectangular Footprint Silos

Our standard rectangular footprint silos are manufactured from galvanised steel and allows users to benefit from increased capacity without the need to increase the height of the silo. Capacities range from 6 – 20 ton with standard footprints of 2mX4m, 1mX3m and 1mX4m. A range of different silos bases can be manufactured either to suit our own boiler feed options or alternatively to integrate third party boiler feed systems when required

Standard Features

Delivery & ventilation pipework to 1.5m from ground level with Storz 110A couplings and dustcaps
Fuel level viewing windows for checking pellet levels
Bag filling panel for manual loading of 15kg pellet bags
Manual Extraction chute for withdrawing pellets from the silo
Feedbox shut off slide
Access panels for cleaning, maintenance & inspection

Optional Extras

Greencoat Finish

This extra durable pvc coated steel is designed to give your silo a 30 year outdoor life as well as improving the overall look of the product if it is to be sited in a visible location. A special internal coating also improves the flow characteristics inside the silo.

60 Degree Conical Base

A 60 degree conical base will minimise dust separation within your silo and hence minimise the need for periodic cleaning and maintenance. This is highly recommended for commercial silos. Please note that this option will increase the overall height of the silo.

Apex Roof

The option of an apex roof is available for customers situated in area’s with high snowfall. This helps prevent the build-up of snow on the roof which can cause corrosion and warping over time.
